Reflect is designed with your privacy in mind. Your photos and memories stay on your device — we never upload, scan, or access them.

Data Collection

What We DON'T Collect

• Your Photos: Reflect accesses your Apple Photos library locally on your device. We never upload, store, or transmit your photos to any server.
• Personal Information: We don't collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information.
• Location Data: We don't track your location.

What We DO Collect (Anonymous Analytics)

To improve the app experience, we collect minimal anonymous usage data through Aptabase:

• App opens and crashes (to fix bugs)
• Feature usage (to understand what people use most)
• Device type and iOS version (to ensure compatibility)

This data is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to you personally.

Photos Access

Reflect requires access to your Apple Photos library to show you memories from past years. This access:

• Happens only on your device
• Is never transmitted to any server
• Is controlled by iOS permissions (you can revoke access anytime in Settings)
